» How to download an mp3 from Tumblr: This post used to be about downloading music from MySpace, but that’s impossible now, and a bunch of people have been sent to this page via Google after searching for “rip tumblr mp3s”, or similar phrases… so I figure I might as well show you guys how I do it.
It’s super simple! To download tumblr songs, use Firefox as your internet browser. Then download the Greasemonkey addon, which lets you install third-party scripts to customize the way you view webpages. The script you will be using for downloading tumblr mp3s is Tumtaster. It creates download buttons below music players on tumblr that allow you to easily download any song you may come across. To download the mp3, right-click the download button and select ‘save link/target as’. Enjoy!
Update: This can be done even easier in Google Chrome — downloading Greasemonkey isn’t even necessary! For IE and Safari users, try reading this guide to make Greasemonkey/Tumtaster work.
